(a)
Push the applicable (MAN L or MAN R) switch-light, on the P5 panel, to the ON position.
(b)
Move the OPEN/CLOSE switch, on the P5 panel, to the CLOSE position.
(c)
Make sure the outflow valve position indicator moves to the closed position.
(d)
Move the OPEN/CLOSE switch, on the P5 panel, to the OPEN position.
(e)
Make sure the outflow valve position indicator moves to the fully open position.

OUTFLOW VALVE FLAPPER DOORS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procecure. The first task is the removal of the Outflow Valve Flapper Door, the second task is the installation of the Outflow Valve Flapper Door.
B. Access to both outflow valves is through the access door in the aft bulkhead of the bulk cargo compartment. Since both valves are identical, the flapper doors on only one (the left valve) will be covered.
