(3) S 864-053Make sure the cargo air conditioning flow control switch on the overhead P461 panel is set to OFF.
(4) S 864-061Open, then close this circuit breaker on the main power distribution panel, P6: (a) E34, A/C CONT CARGO - PCA
(5) S 864-054Put the AFT CARGO VENT switch just forward of the cargo door to ON.
(6) S 714-055Make sure the fan operates. (a) Make sure air comes from the ceiling outlets.
(7) S 794-056Examine the area around the fan for air leaks. (a) Light leakage is permitted. (b) If the leakage is strong, align the joints and tighten the clamps.
(8) S 864-057Put the AFT CARGO VENT switch to OFF.
(9) S 404-058Install the sidewall lining (AMM 25-55-02/401).

BULK CARGO FLAPPER VALVE SOLENOID - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

1. General_______
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1)
Remove the Bulk Cargo Flapper Valve Solenoid
(2)
Install the Bulk Cargo Flapper Valve Solenoid
(3)
Set the Position of the Bulk Cargo Flapper Valve
B. The flapper valve is on the left and right sidewall immediately forward of the aft bulkhead in the bulk cargo compartment. This procedure is for each flapper valve.
C. The flapper valve closes automatically during a test or an operation (discharge) of the cargo fire suppression system. This procedure gives instructions to open the flapper valve if the valve closes automatically.

Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Remove the sidewall lining from the area around the flapper valve screen to get access to the valve solenoid (Ref 25-55-02/401).

Remove the screws (4 locations) that hold the screen to the flapper valve and remove the screen.

If the valve is open, set the valve to the closed position:
