B. Access
(1) Location Zone
142 Aft Cargo Compartment, RH
C. Procedure
S 024-004
(1) Remove the covers from the ducts.
(a) Make sure that there is no unwanted materials in the ducts.

Make sure the flappers in the check valve can move easily.
S 424-024
(3)
Put the check valve in the sleeve.
(a)
Make sure the air flow arrow points in the aft direction.
(b)
Make sure that the hinge pin is in the vertical position.

(4) Install the coupling and the clamp at each end of the check valve.
(a) Tighten the coupling nuts to 60-70 pound-inches(8 newton meters).
D. Installation test for the Check Valve

(1)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(2)
Apply pneumatic pressure (AMM 36-00-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and turn the pack 3 switch on P5 overhead panel to ON (AMM 21-00-00/201).
(4)
Turn the pack flow switch on P461 panel to HI.

(5) Make sure there is no leak around the check valve.
(a) If there is air leakage, adjust the check valve to the clamp and coupling connections.

(6) Turn the pack flow switch to OFF.
