Heating source - Hot water bottle or an equivalent source which can heat a surface to more than 90°F (32°C).

E. Do the Test

(1) Do the test of the low temperature switch.
(a)
Set the CARGO HEAT switch (installed forward of the bulk cargo door) to the 40°F (5°C) position.
(b)
Apply a cooling source to the low temperature switch to decrease the temperature of the switch to less than 40°F (4°C).
NOTE: The low temperature switch is the center temperature
____ switch in the sensor assembly box.
(c) If the temperature in the compartment is more than 90°F (32°C), apply a cooling source to the overheat switch.
NOTE: The overheat switch is on the left side of the sensor
____
assembly box.

Set the AFT CARGO HT switch on the P5 overhead panel to ON.
(e)
Make sure the ON light on the AFT CARGO HT switch comes on.
(f)
Make sure the override valve and the control valve are open.
NOTE: The valves are installed on the inboard bulkhead of the
____ right body gear wheel well. The valve position indicator is on the top of the valve actuator.
(g)
Make sure air comes from the heat ducts in the aft cargo compartment.
