(1) Open the following circuit breaker for the forward cargo compartment temperature switch and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) On the P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6F32 FWD CARGO HEAT CONT

Remove the coverplate screws and the coverplate from the sensor assembly box.

Remove the electrical connector DS2014 from the temperature switch.

Remove the nut from the switch and remove the switch from the mounting plate.

Install the temperature switch with the electrical receptacle on the top of the mounting plate and install the nut.

Install the lockwire between the switch and nut (Ref 20-11-28/401).

Apply the primer to the lockwire access hole.

Apply the sealant to the lockwire access hole.

Install the electrical connector DS2014 on the switch.

FORWARD CARGO HEAT DUCT - REPAIR

1. General_______
A. This task gives instructions to repair the heat duct in the forward cargo compartment.
B. This task has two procedures for the repair of the heat duct while it is on the airplane:
(1)
The first procedure tells to repair a short section of the heat duct. A short segment of duct is twelve inches (305 mm) or less.
