GROUND SERVICE CONNECTOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This subject contains these tasks:
-Remove a ground service connector
-Install a ground service connector
-Remove the swing check valve from a ground service connector
-Install the swing check valve into a ground service connector
B. The operations that are necessary to remove and install a ground service connector are as follows:
-Make sure the air conditioning packs are off
-Open the applicable access door on the air conditioning bay
-Remove and install the ground service connector
-Examine the installation for air leaks.
C. A ground service connector is installed downstream of the water
separators in the air conditioning packs 1 and 3.

Remove the support rod bolts at the support clamp on the ground service connector. Keep the clamp on the duct.

Remove the ground service connector.

Hold the ground service connector.
(b)
Loosen the clamps at each end of the ground service connector.
