Apply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure the air/ground relay system is in the ground mode.

CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE THERE IS NO BLOCKAGE IN THE VALVE FLAPPER DOORS.
THE AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT OF THE VALVES DURING THE GROUND TEST
CAN CAUSE DAMAGE IF THE VALVE FLAPPER DOORS ARE NOT FREE TO
MOVE.
(5) Do a ground test of the cabin pressure control system (CPCS) on a CMC CDU (AMM 21-31-00/501):
(a)
Make sure the AUTO SELECT switch on the P5 overhead panel is set to NORM.
(b)
Make sure the MAN L/MAN R switches on the P5 overhead panel are set to off.
(c)
Select <GROUND TEST from the CMC main menu.
(d)
Select <21 CABIN PRESSURE from the air conditioning menu.
(e)
For a test of the A controller, select <CPCS-A.
(f)
For a test of the B controller, select <CPCS-B.
(g)
Make sure that IN PROGRESS shows on the CMC CDU.
(h)
Make sure that PASS shows on the CMC CDU.

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. The first task is the removal of the cabin altitude control module (M181). The second task is the installation of the cabin altitude control module.
