1) 180J20, FWD OVBD VALVE POWER

(2) Remove the screen:
(a)
Get access to the screen in the space adjacent to the left side of the nose gear wheel well.
(b)
Loosen the clamp that holds the screen to the valve.
(c)
Remove the screen from the valve
S 167-003
(3) Clean the screen:
(a)
Use the brush to clean the screen with soap and water.
(b)
Rinse the screen with water.
(c)
Dry the screen with the lint-free cloth and dry compressed air.
S 427-004
(4) Install the screen:
(a)
Install the screen on the valve.
(b)
Tighten the clamp that holds the screen to the valve.

LOWER FORWARD CARGO OVERBOARD VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General

A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the lower forward cargo overboard valve.
B. The lower forward cargo overboard valve is installed in the floor area of the forward cargo compartment at station 770.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6E34 CARGO AIR COND PCA
(b)
P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
1) 180E27 FWD CGO OVBD VLV PWR
S 034-002
(2) Remove the electrical connector DV526 from the valve.
NOTE: The valve is in the floor area of the forward cargo
____
compartment at station 770.

(3)
Remove the bonding jumper from the valve.
(4)
Remove the clamp from each end of the valve and remove the valve.
