 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THERE IS NO BLOCKAGE IN THE VALVE FLAPPER DOORS.
_______ THE AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT OF THE VALVES DURING THE GROUND TEST CAN CAUSE DAMAGE IF THE VALVE FLAPPER DOORS ARE NOT FREE TO MOVE.
 (10) Do a ground test of the cabin pressure control system (CPCS) on the CMC CDU (AMM 21-31-00/501):
 (a) Make sure the AUTO SELECT switch is set to the NORM position.
 NOTE: The AUTO SELECT switch is on the P5 overhead panel.

 (b)  Make sure the MAN L and MAN R switches are set to off.
 NOTE: The MAN L and MAN R switches are on the P5 overhead
____
 panel.

 (c)  
Select <GROUND TESTS from the CMC main menu.

 (d)  
Select <21 CABIN PRESSURE from the ground tests menu.

 (e)  
Select <CPCS-A or <CPCS-B from the cabin pressure menu.

 (f)  
Make sure that IN PROGRESS shows on the CMC CDU.

 (g)  
Make sure that PASS shows on the CMC CDU.

 PRESSURIZATION OUTFLOW VALVE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of an outflow valve actuator assembly. The procedure has these parts:
 (1)  
The removal of power to the valve

 (2)  
The removal of the access panel from the aft bulkhead of the bulk cargo compartment

 (3)  
The removal of the outflow valve actuator

 (4)  
The installation of the outflow valve actuator

 (5)  
A test of the outflow valve.


 B.  The removal and installation procedure is the same for the left and the right outflow valve actuator.
