C. Install the Fan
S 984-011
(1)
Put the fan in its position.
S 434-012
(2)
Install the three nuts and washers that hold the fan to the support bracket.

Install the bolts, nuts, and washers that attach the fan support rods to the fan.

(4)
Pull the sleeves onto the inlet and the outlet of the fan.

(5)
Install the four clamps on the inlet and the outlet of the fan.
(6)
Install the electrical connector, DH544, on the fan.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
Main power distribution panel, P6
1) 6H31, FLT DK AIR FLOW CONT
(b)
Right Power Distribution Center, P415 1) 415D38, FLIGHT DECK FAN POWER

D. Do the Installation Test for the Fan

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure that all the packs are off.

Push the FLT DECK FAN switch on the overhead panel, P5, to the ON position.

Make sure the fan comes on.

Push the FLT DECK FAN switch to the off position.

Make sure the fan stops.

Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary

1. General_______
A. This procedure gives instructions to clean the bulk cargo fan screen.
B. To get access to the bulk cargo fan you must remove the sidewall lining from the left side of the bulk cargo compartment.
