Put the OPEN/CLOSE switch on the cabin altitude control module to the CLOSE position. 1) Make sure the left (or right) outflow valve position
indicator on the ECS synoptic page moves to the fully
closed position.
2) Make sure the left (or right) outflow valve position indicator on the altitude control module moves to the fully closed position.
3) Release the OPEN/CLOSE switch.
(c) Put the OPEN/CLOSE switch in the OPEN position. 1) Make sure the left (or right) outflow valve position indicator on the ECS synoptic page is 0.90 and 0.95.
2) Make sure the left (or right) outflow valve position indicator on the cabin altitude control module is near the fully open position.
3) Release the OPEN/CLOSE toggle switch.

(3) Do the Landing altitude display test:
(a) Monitor the lower elevation limit of the manual landing altitude selection: 1) Set the AUTO SELECT switch on the CPCS selector panel to
the A position. 2) Turn the LDG ALT knob on the CPCS selector panel fully counterclockwise. 3) Pull the LDG ALT knob out. a) Check that LDG ALT reads -2000 |50 MAN on the main EICAS.

4) Set the AUTO SELECT switch on the CPCS selector panel to the B position. a) Check that LDG ALT reads -2000 |50 MAN on the main
EICAS.
(b) Monitor the upper elevation limit of the manual landing altitude selection: 1) Turn the LDG ALT knob on the CPCS selector panel fully
clockwise. a) Make sure that the LDG ALT value is 14000 |50 MAN on the main EICAS.
2) Set the AUTO SELECT switch on the CPCS selector panel to the A position. a) Make sure that the LDG ALT value is 14000 |50 MAN on
the main EICAS.
3) Turn the LDG ALT knob on the CPCS selector panel counterclockwise. Stop when the LDG ALT value is approximately equal to the present field altitude on the main EICAS.
(c) Push the LDG ALT knob on the CPCS selector panel to the in position.

OUTFLOW VALVE AC MOTOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the outflow valve AC motor. The procedure has these parts:
(1)
The removal of power to the outflow valves
(2)
The removal off the access panel from the aft bulkhead of the bulk cargo compartment
(3)
The removal of the outflow valve AC motor
(4)
The installation of the outflow valve AC motor
(5)
A CMC ground test of the cabin pressure control system
B. The removal and installation procedure is the same for the left or the right outflow valve AC motor.
