Push and hold the door open against the stop.

Release the RESET switch.

Make sure the door stays in the open position.

Set the CARGO FIRE AFT switch on the P5 overhead panel to the OFF position.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers and close these circuit breakers: 1) 6H6, FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOWER CARGO 2) 6H7, FIRE EXTINGUISHER MN DK CARGO

Install the sidewall lining (AMM 25-55-02/401).

Supply the electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Remove the screws (4 locations) that hold the screen to the flapper valve and remove the screen.

Set the flapper valve to the open position:

(a)
Open these circuit breakers on the main power distribution panel, P6, and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers: 1) 6H6, FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOWER CARGO 2) 6H7, FIRE EXTINGUISHER MN DK CARGO
(b)
Set the CARGO FIRE AFT switch on the P5 overhead panel to the ARMED position.
(c)
Push and hold the RESET switch on the flapper valve assembly.
(d)
Push and hold the door open against the stop.
(e)
Release the RESET switch.
(f)
Make sure the door stays in the open position.
(g)
Set the CARGO FIRE AFT switch on the P5 overhead panel to the OFF position.
