 (1)  Put the outflow valve assembly (1) in its position on the skin opening.

 (2)  Install the washers (11) and bolts (10). Tighten the bolts by hand.

 (3)  From outside of the airplane, make a mark on the outflow valve frame at each bolt hole location. Make a mark on the outflow valve frame in 24 locations for the 1/4-inch holes and in 8 locations for the 5/16-inch holes.

 (4)  Remove the outflow valve assembly (1) from the airplane and drill the holes for the 1/4-inch (6.4 mm) and the 5/16-inch (8 mm) bolts.

 (5)  Apply the sealant to the outflow valve frame and the skin mating surfaces.

 (6)  Put the outflow valve assembly in its position on the skin opening.

 (7)  Install the 24 bolts (15), washers (16), and nuts (17).

 (8)  Install the 8 bolts (12), washers (13), and nuts (14).

 (9)  Attach the gearcase to the bracket with the bolts (10) and washers (11).

 (10) Attach the bonding jumper (6) to the structure with the screw (7), washer (8) and nut (9).

 (11) Install the electrical connectors (3, 4, and 5) on the valve (1).
 (a)  The DC motor electrical connector (3),
 DV90C-right or DV91C-left

 (b)  The AC motor electrical connector (4),
 DV90A-right or DV91A-left

 (c)  The position potentiometer electrical connector (5),
 DV90B-right or DV91B-left.

 (12) Install the safety screen (2).  Make sure the actuator arm is free of the safety screen.
