Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close this circuit breaker on P6 Main Power Distribution Panel:
(a) 6H6 FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOWER CARGO

(6) Get access to the reset switch.
(a) Remove the four screws that hold the screen over the flapper valves and remove the screen.
E. Do The Test of the Aft Cargo Flapper Valves

WARNING:_______KEEP YOUR HANDS CLEAR OF THE FLAPPER VALVE DOOR. THE NEXT STEP WILL CAUSE THE FLAPPER VALVE DOOR TO MOVE INBOARD TO THE CLOSED POSITION. THE FORCE OF THE FLAPPER VALVE DOOR WHEN IT CLOSES CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(1)
Set the AFT cargo fire switch on the P5 panel to ARMED.

Push the CARGO FIRE DEPRESS/DISCH switch on the P5 panel.

Make sure that the left and right aft cargo flapper doors go to the closed position.
F. Put The Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

(1) Put the valves back to the open position.
(a)
Push and hold the RESET switch on the flapper valve assembly.
(b)
Push and hold the door open against the stop.
(c)
Release the RESET switch.
(d)
Make sure the flapper valve door stays open.

(e) Set the CARGO FIRE AFT switch on the P5 overhead panel to the unarmed position.

Put the screen over the flapper valve assembly and install the four screws.

Remove the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER IN THE SUBSEQUENT STEP IS
_______ OPENED. IF IT IS NOT OPENED, THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLES COULD RELEASE THEIR CONTENTS AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONEL.
(4) Open this circuit breaker on the P6 main power distribution panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) 6H6, FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOWER CARGO
