Remove the access panel on the aft bulkhead of the bulk cargo compartment to get access to the outflow valves (1).

Remove the safety screen (2).

Remove the electrical connectors (3, 4, and 5) from the valve (1):
(a) The DC motor electrical connector (3),
DV90C-right or DV91C-left

The AC motor electrical connector (4), DV90A-right or DV91A-left
(c)
The position potentiometer electrical connector (5), DV90B-right or DV91B-left.

Remove the screw (7), washer (8) and nut (9) to disconnect the bonding jumper (6) from the structure.

Remove the bolts (10) and washers (11) that hold the gearcase housing to the bracket (2 locations).

Remove the bolts (12), washers (13) and nuts (14) from the retainer (8 locations).

Remove the bolts (15), washers (16) and nuts (17) from around the outflow valve frame (24 locations).

Remove the outflow valve assembly (1).
NOTE: Prior to the installation of the fasteners common to
____ the skin and valve assembly, if the gap between the skin and the valve assembly is:
-Less than 0.018 inches, do not install the 65B40019-3 shim assembly.
-Between 0.019 and 0.038 inches, install the 69B41134-2 or -3 shim assembly, as required.
-Exceeds 0.039 inches, install the 65B40019-3 shim assembly.

(10) Use a plastic (nonmetallic) knife to remove the remaining sealant from the airplane surfaces.
