(1)
Remove the escape slide assembly (4) from the door (AMM 25-61-35/201).

(2)
Remove the inside handle (3) from the door:
(a)
Put the door in the cocked position.
(b)
Remove the insert (19) from the inside handle (3).
(c)
Remove the cotter pins (6), nuts (7), and washers (8) from the inside handle (3).
(d)
Remove the inside handle (3) from the door.
(e)
Remove the screw (9) from the cover (10).
(f)
Move the cover (10) horizontally and remove it from the door panel (1).
(g)
Remove the foam filler (11).
(h)
Remove the screws (12) and washers (20) from the mount (21).
(i)
Remove the mount (21) from the door panel (1).
