A door warning system is provided to show the crew when the doors are closed and properly latched.

There are doors for the main and the nose landing gear.

The doors have rubber seals to prevent air pressurization loss or to improve airflow over the external joining surfaces.

If a door is removed or stowed open for a prolonged period during inclement weather, a protective cover should be installed to prevent damage to the airplane interior. Refer to Illustrated Tool and Equipment List for available covers.
G.
Passenger/Crew and cargo doors may be opened and closed in winds up to 40 knots or left latched open in winds up to 65 knots without structural damage.
2. Passenger/Crew Doors____________________
A. Forward Entry Door (Ref. 52-11-00)

The forward entry door is on the left forward side of the airplane (Fig. 1). The door is an inward-outward opening plug-type door which can be operated from inside or outside the airplane.
B.
Aft Entry Door (Ref. 52-13-00)

The aft entry door is on the left aft side of the airplane (Fig. 1). The door is an inward-outward opening plug-type door similar to the forward entry door, though slightly smaller, and can be operated from inside or outside the airplane.

C. Door-Mounted Evacuation Slides (Ref. 25-61-35)
(1) An Evacuation slide is inistalled on each passenger/crew entry door and on each galley service door for emergency evacuation of the passenger cabin.

A. There is a cargo compartment door on the lower right side of the fuselage serving each cargo compartment (Fig. 1). Both doors are hinged at the upper edges and open inward. Access panels are provided in the cargo door external skin to enable manual latch release if the operating mechanisms fail. Except for slight differences of size and shape, both doors are the same.
Service Doors

A. Galley Service Doors (Ref. 52-41-00)

The galley service doors are on the right side of the airplane and are situated approximately opposite the entry doors (Fig. 1). The doors are similar in design and operation to the forward passenger/crew entry door, though slightly smaller.
