Remove the bolts that hold the fitting (25) to the support (26).
(e)
Remove the snubber and the radius link (21) from the door.
NOTE: The snubber is attached to the radius link.

Remove the guide arm (14) from the top hinge.
(a)
Make a mark on the top spigot and the hinge arm to show how they align.
NOTE: This will make the subsequent installation easier.

(b)
Loosen the bolt that holds the top spigot to the guide arm.
(c)
Remove the top spigot (10), the spring (11), the washer (12), the O-ring (13), and the thrust washer (8).
(d)
Remove the four bolts that hold the fitting (16) to the structure.
(e)
Pull the guide arm from between the guide plates (5).
NOTE: The fitting is attached to the guide arm.

Move the top and the bottom hinge arms away from the structure.

Remove the door.
NOTE: The forward entry door weighs approximately 180 pounds.
____ The door can be lifted from above with a strap attached through the top middle lightening holes of the door inner skin.

(8) If you will not install the door again, remove and keep these parts:
NOTE: You will use these parts to install a new door.

The door seal (AMM 52-09-13/401).
