Make sure there is 90 degrees from the door to the outboard face of the seal. 1) See that there is tension on the seal between points 3 and
4. 2) See that the seal is compressed between points 1 and 4. 3) See that the seal is compressed between points 2 and 3.

(6) Temporarily attach the seal to the remaining edge of the door. (a) Make holes in the flange of the seal along the remaining edge of the door.
1) Make the holes align with the holes in the locator angle.

(7) Make holes in the flange of the seal at the top and the bottom of the gates. (a) Make the holes to get the dimensions shown (Section A-A, Section B-B).

(8) Permanently attach the seal to the door. (a) Remove each screw and discard the washer. (b) Install the seal retainer. (c) Install the screws. (d) Tighten the screws until you see the edge of the seal below the retainer.

(9) Install the insert in the seal on the bottom gate. (a) Make sure the insert is in the straight section of the seal.

Connect the control rods to the top and the bottom gates.

Do this check of the seal installation.
(a)
Temporarily attach shims that are 0.06 inch thick to the door
stops.
(b) Close but do not lock the door.
(c) Move a light along the outboard edge of the door.
(d) Make sure you can not see light through the seal.
CAUTION:_______ DO NOT PUT SHIMS BELOW THE SEAL ADJACENT TO THE
OTHER SEAL AT THE GATE HINGE. THIS CAN BEND THE SEAL
AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO IT.
1) Put shims below the seal if you see light around the door
