Disconnect the torque tube from the hinge pins (Fig. 402).
(a)
Remove the bolts in the torque tube (3, Fig. 402) and the hinge pins (1).
(b)
Move the sleeves along the torque tube.

Remove the twelve bolts (8, Fig. 401) that hold the housing for the handle mechanism.

Remove the control rods (1 and 3) for the gates.
(a)
Disconnect the top and the bottom control rods at each gate.
(b)
Disconnect the top and the bottom control rods from the handle mechanism.
(c)
Remove the control rods.

Remove the hinge arms.
(a)
Remove the hinge link bolts (15).
(b)
Remove the hinge pin bolts (19) from the hinge arm.
(c)
Disengage the hinge pins from the hinge arms (Fig. 402).
(d)
Remove the hinge arms.
