 (3)  S 014-011-B00Install the part of the seal that goes around the edge of the door. (a) Push the inboard edge of the flange into the retainer. (b) Use the special tool to push the outboard flange into the retainer. (c) Make sure the part of the seal that goes around the edge of the door is smooth.
 (4)  S 394-012-B00Put the sealant on the part of the seal between the door and the gates. (a) Apply a layer of the sealant on the seal as shown. (b) Make the sealant smooth. (c) Let the sealant become dry. 1) The sealant will be dry after 24 hours if the temperature is 75 degrees F.
 NOTE:____ More time is necessary if the temperature is less than 75 degrees F.
 (5)  S 864-013-B00Connect the control rods to the gates.
 (6)  S 864-014-B00Close the door.
 (7)  S 714-015-B00See that the seal touches the edge of the door opening.

 AERODYNAMIC SEALS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  Aerodynamic seals decrease aerodynamic drag. This procedure refers to the Aerodynamic Seals as "the seals". There are two alternatives to attach the seals:
 (1)
The seal is in a flange

 (2)
An angle holds the seal to the structure.

 B.  
This procedure contains two tasks:

 (1)
The removal of a seal

 (2)
The installation of a seal.
