Remove the maintenance stand.

Fully open the door.

Remove the two bolts from the hinge arm.

(3)
Move the hinge arm to align the grooves in the hinge pin with the holes in the hinge arm.

(4)
Ream the bolt holes in the hinge arm.
(a)
Ream the holes to a diameter from 0.257 to 0.261 inch.
(b)
Ream the holes to a depth of 0.50 inch.
(c)
Apply the Alodine in the holes (AMM 51-21-41/701 and AMM 51-21-21/701).
(d)
Apply the primer in the holes (AMM 51-21-99/701).

Install the spacers.
(a)
Put the spacer in the hole in the hinge arm.
