___________________ 6. ATTACH THE KEEPER ON THE GUIDE ARM. 5. TIGHTEN THE CHECK NUT. 4. TURN THE ADJUSTMENT NUT TO CHANGE THE LENGTH OF THE GUIDE ARM: 3. LOOSEN THE CHECK NUT. 2. REMOVE THE KEEPER FROM THE END OF THE GUIDE ARM. b. MAKE THE ARM LONGER TO MOVE THE AFT EDGE OF THE DOOR OUTBOARD. a. MAKE THE ARM SHORTER TO MOVE THE AFT EDGE OF THE DOOR INBOARD. PARALLEL ADJUSTMENT 1. PARTIALLY OPEN THE DOOR.
___________________NECESSARY CONDITION: THEIR LATCH FITTINGS AT THE SAME TIME. THE FORWARD AND AFT LATCH ROLLERS MUST ENTER

___________________VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT
1. REMOVE THE COTTER PINS FROM THE ADJUSTMENT TOP NUT
NUTS ON THE VERTICAL TORQUE TUBE.
2. LOOSEN THE TOP NUT IF YOU WILL ADJUST THE
DOOR IN THE UP DIRECTION.
3. TURN THE BOTTOM ADJUSTMENT NUT TO MOVE THE
DOOR UP OR DOWN UNTIL THE DOOR IS IN THE
CORRECT POSITION VERTICALLY. TORQUE
____NOTE: THE GATE CLEARANCE WILL CHANGE TUBE
APPROXIMATELY 0.02 INCH FOR EVERY
NOTCH YOU TURN THE NUT (0.04 INCH
FOR 1/4 OF A TURN).
FOR A LARGE VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT, REMOVE THE THREE BOLTS AND THE PUSH ROD
CENTERING GUIDE ON THE AFT EDGE
CAUTION:_______ OF THE DOOR. CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BEARING IN THE DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE NUT. YOU CAN NUT ADJUSTMENT HANDLE INTERNAL
HANDLE MECHANISM.
4. TIGHTEN THE TOP NUT. FWD INBD
5. INSTALL THE COTTER PINS IN THE NUTS. 6. INSTALL THE CENTERING GUIDE IF YOU REMOVED IT. VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT NUTS
7. MAKE SURE THE CENTERING GUIDE TRACK CLEARANCE
IS CORRECT (SEE FIG. 517).

0.06 TO 0.18 INCH CLEARANCE 2
____________________NECESSARY CONDITIONS: 0.13 TO 0.28 INCH CLEARANCE 3
1. THE GATE CLEARANCE MUST HAVE THE NECESSARY
DIMENSIONS.
2. EACH DOOR STOP PIN MUST ALIGN WITH THE
STOP PAD TARGET.

DOOR FLUSHNESS ADJUSTMENT
1.
MOVE THE STOP PINS THAT ARE NEAR THE
FITTING INBOARD UNTIL THEY WILL NOT
INTERFERE WITH THE ADJUSTMENT.
2.
LATCH FITTINGS WITH A DOOR WARNING SWITCH: REMOVE THE SWITCH COVER AND LOOSEN THE BOLT THAT HOLDS THE SWITCH IN POSITION.
3.
LOOSEN THE THREE FASTENERS ON THE LATCH
FITTING.
