LATCH FITTING LATCH ROLLER CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT(MOVEMENT)
1. LATCH FITTINGS WITH A DOOR WARNING SWTCH:
A
REMOVE THE SWITCH COVER AND MOVE THE SWITCH
TO GET ACCESS TO THE BOTTOM OUTER FASTENER.
2.
 LOOSEN THE INNER AND OUTER FASTENERS.

3.
 MARK THE POSITION OF THE FITTING ASSEMBLY.

4.
 MOVE THE LATCH ASSEMBLY UP OR DOWN.


A. USE YOUR MARKS TO SEE HOW FAR YOU HAVE MOVED THE ASSEMBLY.
5.
 MOVE THE FITTING ACROSS THE SERRATIONS TO KEEP THE LATCH FITTING THE SAME DISTANCE FROM THE EDGE OF THE DOOR FRAME.

ROLLER NOTE:IF YOU DO THIS, YOUR WILL NOT CHANGE THE FLUSHNESS ACCIDENTLY.

6.
 MAKE SURE THE SERRATIONS FIT TOGETHER CORRECTLY.

7.
 TIGHTEN ALL THE FASTENERS TO SECURE THE LATCH FITTING IN THE NEW POSITION.

NECESSARY CONDITION:
EACH LATCH ROLLER MUST BE 0.04 TO 0.28 INCH (DOOR IS IN THE CLOSED

STOP PIN ADJUSTMENT (EXAMPLE)
STOP PIN ADJUSTMENT
1.
 REMOVE THE LOCKSPRING.

 

STOP FITTING

2.
 TURN THE STOP PIN TO MOVE IT INBOARD  OR OUTBOARD UNTIL YOU GET THE CORRECT DISTANCE BETWEEN THE PIN AND THE PAD AS FOLLOWS:


 a. MOVE THE STOP PIN OUTBOARD UNTILLOCKSPRING
IT TOUCHES THE STOP PAD.
 b. MOVE THE STOP PIN INBOARD 1/2 A STOP PIN
TURN.
C. MOVE THE STOP PIN INBOARD UNTIL THE STOP PAD
NEAREST LOCKGROOVES ON THE STOP PIN
AND STOP PIN BUSHING ALIGN.

INCH3. INSTALL THE SPRINGLOCK.
0.015
STOP PIN CLEARANCENECESSARY CONDITION:
EACH STOP PIN MUST BE 0.015 TO 0.030 INCHFROM ITS STOP PAD.

A MINIMUM TRAVEL OF 0.007 INCH CAN BE ACHIEVED THROUGH VARIOUS COMBINATIONS OF LOCKING GROOVES BETWEEN THE STOP PIN AND STOP PIN BUSHING

CENTERING GUIDE ADJUSTMENT
1.
 OPEN THE DOOR.

2.
 LOOSEN THE 3 BOLTS ON THE CENTERING GUIDE.

3.
 PUT THE CENTERING GUIDE IN THE CORRECT  POSITION ON THE SERRATED PLATE.

4.
 MAKE SURE THE SERRATIONS FIT TOGETHER CORRECTLY.

5.
 TIGHTEN THE BOLTS.
