The removal of an aft entry door.

The installation of an aft entry door.

A wood block satisfactory to hold the weight of the door (136 pounds)

Procedure
S 494-002-B00
(1)
Put the maintenance stand adjacent to the door.
S 014-003-B00
(2)
Remove the escape slide assembly (Ref 25-61-35/201).
(3)
Remove the lining from the door (Ref 52-13-21/401).
(4)
Open the door to the cocked position.
(5)
Put the wood block in a position to hold the weight of the door.

(6)
Disconnect the door from the fuselage at the top hinge.
(a)
Remove the bolt (2, Fig. 401) that holds the hinge arm (5) to the hinge link (1).
(b)
Remove the four bolts that hold the attach fitting (6) to the hinge support (7).
