Remove the inside handle (9):
(a)
Remove the insert (17) from the inside handle (9).
(b)
Remove the cotter pins, nuts, and washers from the inside handle (9).
(c)
Remove the inside handle (9).
(d)
Remove the screws from the cover (26).
(e)
Remove the cover (26) and the foam filler.
(f)
Remove the screws and washers from the mount.
(g)
Remove the mount.
(h)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the bolts (27) of the hub (24) at the three locations.
(i)
Remove the three bolts (27) and the hub (24).
(j)
Remove the shims (25).
NOTE: Measure the thickness of the shims for installation

Remove the top panel from the door.
(a)
Remove the screws (2) at the top corners of the panel.
(b)
Loosen the remaining screws on the top edge of the panel
(c)
Loosen the fasteners (11) on the remaining edges of the panel.
(d)
Pull the top edge of the panel (1) up and inboard to release it from the trim (4).
(e)
Remove the panel from the door.

Remove the bottom panel (6) from the door (3).
(a)
Remove the screws (7) at the bottom corners of the panel (6).
(b)
Loosen the screws along the bottom edge of the panel.
(c)
Loosen the fasteners (12) on the remaining edges of the panel.
(d)
Pull the bottom edge of the panel (6) inboard and down to release it from the trim (4).
(e)
Remove the panel (6) from the door.
NOTE: The window pane assembly (10) stays on the panel.
