Connect the guide arm to the door.
(a)
Move the guide arm to make the latch pin point up.
CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE THE DOOR. WITH THE GUIDE ARM DISCONNECTED, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DOOR WHEN YOU MOVE IT.
(b)
Open the door sufficiently to install the fitting on the hinge support.
(c)
Install the four bolts that hold the fitting to the hinge support.

Connect the guide arm to the fuselage.
(a)
Close the door sufficiently to get to the cover on the hinge.
(b)
Push the cover to get to the guide plates.
(c)
While you push down on the latch pin, put the guide arm in its position on the guide plates.
NOTE: You can move the door lightly to help you put

the guide arm in its position.
(d) Install the radius links (5 and 23). 1) Align the holes in the radius links with the hole in the
guide arm.
2) Put the pin (3) in the guide arm.

Remove the assist handle (5).
(a)
Use the special wrench to loosen the nuts (20) on the assist handle.
(b)
Remove the assist handle from the door.
(c)
Remove the bolts (22), collars (19, 21), and nuts (20) from the door.

Remove the escape slide assembly from the door (AMM 25-61-35/201).
