 A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 (2)
 Make sure that the warning notice is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the emergency oxygen system.

 (3)
 For the passenger service channels:

 (a) Make sure that the individual air outlet 4150 HM is open (Ref. TASK 21-24-19-000-001).

 (4)
 For the lavatories and the aft utility area:

 (a) Make sure that the stepladder is below the related emergency oxygen container.

 (5)
 Make sure that door-frame lining is removed:
 FOR 5028WR
 221HW (Ref. TASK 25-23-45-000-005).
 FOR 5040WR
 222HW (Ref. TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
 FOR 5036WR
 262KW (Ref. TASK 25-23-45-000-004).

 WARNING : KEEP ALL HYDROCARBONS (FUELS, LUBRICANTS, ETC.) AWAY FROM ALL

 SOURCE OF OXYGEN. OXYGEN BECOMES EXPLOSIVE WHEN IT TOUCHES
 HYDROCARBONS.

 WARNING : CLEAN THE TOOLS AND MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN TO PREVENT

 CONTAMINATION OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM.

 CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE FLEXIBLE HOSES ARE NOT TWISTED OR PULLED TIGHT.
_______ IF THE HOSES ARE TWISTED OR PULLED TIGHT, THE CONNECTIONS WILL BREAK AND CAUSE A LEAK.
 Subtask 35-22-54-420-050
 A. Install the emergency oxygen containers in the Passenger Service Channels . (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 35-22-54-991-001, 402/TASK 35-22-54-991-006)
 NOTE : Only the correct P/N of the emergency oxygen container must be
____ installed. The hoses have a specified length for each location in the aircraft and they must not be cut.
 NOTE : The installation procedure is the same for all the emergency
____
 oxygen containers in the service channels.

 (1)
 Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (2)
 Put the oxygen container (5) in position in the rail (1).

 (3)
 Install the hose section (2) with the PULLEY ASSEMBLY - SEALING CORD
