CES WARNING : OBEY THESE SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS WHEN YOU DO THIS PROCEDURE:

-PREVENT ALL MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES NEARER THAN 5M (13.5 FT) TO THE WORKING AREA OF THE AIRCRAFT.
-STOP ALL REFUELING, ALL REPAIRS ON FUEL AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS, AND ALL PROCEDURES THAT USE FLAMMABLE MATERIALS SUCH AS CLEANING AND DE-ICING MATERIALS. MAKE SURE THAT NO PERSONS CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE GROUND POWER CONNECTOR.
-MAKE SURE THAT NO PERSONS SMOKE, AND THAT THERE ARE NO FLAMES, IN A RADIUS OF 15M (50 FT) OF THE REPLENISHING EQUIPMENT.
-USE ONLY TOOLS/GROUND SERVICING EQUIPMENT MADE SPECIALLY FOR OXYGEN SYSTEMS.
-MAKE SURE THAT YOUR HANDS AND ALL THE TOOLS/GROUND SERVICING EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAN. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM.
-CAREFULLY OBEY THE REPLENISHING INSTRUCTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU CAN CAUSE A FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION.
-MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD FLOW OF AIR THROUGH THE WORK AREA TO PREVENT A CONCENTRATION OF OXYGEN.
-DURING THIS PROCEDURE, MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NOT PASSENGERS IN THE AIRCRAFT.
WARNING : ONLY PERSONS NECESSARY FOR THIS PROCEDURE ARE PERMITTED IN THE

AIRCRAFT DURING THE TASK.
Subtask 35-21-00-860-052
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Obey the special precautions when you do this task (Ref. TASK 35-00-00-860-001).
(2)
Make sure that the overboard discharge indicator 7521WR shows green.
(3)
Make sure that the manual shut-off valves of the oxygen cylinders are open.
(4)
Make sure that the number of oxygen cylinders set on the QCCU is the same as the number of oxygen cylinders installed in the aircraft.
(5)
Make sure that the warning lights on the QCCU are off.

B. Connect the Ground Filling Equipment
(1)
Put the oxygen ground filling equipment in position near the AFT cargo-compartment door 826.
(2)
Connect an electrostatic ground connector between the aircraft and the oxygen ground filling equipment (Ref. TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(3)
Remove the cap from the filling port 7520WR and connect the OXYGEN GROUND FILLING EQUIPMENT.

C. Filling of the Passenger Oxygen Cylinders
(1)
Measure the outside temperature (AOT) and the cargo compartment temperature with a thermometer.
(2)
Find the correct filling pressure, refer to the aircraft placards.
(3)
Fill the passenger Oxygen Cylinders
(a)
Open the shut-off valve on the oxygen ground filling equipment and fill the oxygen cylinders until the pressure on the gage does not increase by more than 200 psi (13.7895 bar) per minute.
(b)
Make sure that the pressures in the oxygen cylinders increase constantly at the same. Refer to the gages on the oxygen cylinders.
(c)
Calculate the average pressure in the oxygen cylinders
(d)
Make sure that the pressure on the fill panel pressure indicator is the same as the calculated average pressure in the oxygen cylinders.
(4)
When the pressure on the fill panel pressure indicator is correct close the shut-off valve on the oxygen ground filling equipment.
1_ Read the pressure on the gage of each oxygen cylinder.
2_ Add the pressure together and divide the total by the number
of oxygen cylinders.
NOTE : The pressure must not be more than 10% above the permitted
____
working pressure.

D. Disconnect the Oxygen Ground Filling Equipment
(1)
Slowly disconnect the oxygen ground filling equipment from the filling port 7520WR.
(2)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(3)
Install the cap on the filling port 7520WR.
(4)
Disconnect the electrostatic ground connector (Ref. TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
