 (2)
 Get a pressure reducing valve.

 (3)
 Get a bleed valve.

 (4)
 Get an isolation valve.

 (5)
Get a pressure gage that can read pressures from 0 to 150 psig.

 (6)
Get a union (1) COUPLING - OXYGEN QUICK DISCONNECT (110111-36).

 (7)
 Assemble the test installation
 (Ref. Fig. 502/TASK 35-10-00-991-002)

 (8)
Remove the blanking cap of the test port 5755HM.

 (9)
Connect the installation to the test port 5755HM located on the face of the oxygen cylinder support.

 4. Procedure
_________ Subtask 35-10-00-860-051
 A. Test of the LP Oxygen
 (1)
On the panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).

 (2)
Open the nitrogen source. Use the pressure reducing valve to set the pressure to 130 psig.

 (3)
Close the isolation valve and the nitrogen source.

 (4)
Keep the system pressurized for at least one half hour.

 (5)
Make sure that the value on the pressure gage does not decrease. If the pressure decreases, find the leak with SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-004). Replace the defective component. Do the test again.

 (6)
When the pressure stays stable, open the isolation valve.

 (1)
Put the blanking cap on the test port 5755HM.

 (2)
Remove the blanking cap from the regulator. Put it in the oxygen stowage bag (5).

 (3)
Remove the sealed vinyl bag and the blanking cap from the hose (4).

 (4)
Install a new seal (3) on the hose.

 (5)
Install and tighten the hose (4) on the port (2) of the oxygen regulator.

 (6)
Put the oxygen cylinder in the serviceable condition.

 (a)
Slowly open the oxygen cylinder valve by 3.5 to 4 turns.

 (b)
Stop for 90 seconds to let the pressure become stable.

 (c)
Fully open the oxygen cylinder valve.

 (7)
Bleed the mask stowage boxes. On each stowage box, at the same time, push and then immediately release:

 -
the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide,

 -
the pressure relief button of the mask regulator. Do this operation two to three times.
