3. Job Set-up
__________ Subtask 35-21-00-861-055
A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
Subtask 35-21-00-010-059
B. Get Access
(1)
Open the AFT cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2)
Put the access platform below the AFT cargo-compartment door 826.
(3)
Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4)
Remove the related lining panel to get access to the oxygen storage (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
4. Procedure
_________ Subtask 35-21-00-210-053
A. Visual Inspection of the Oxygen Cylinder Pressure
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 35-21-00-991-008)
(1)
Calculate the average pressure in the oxygen cylinders.
(a)
Read and write down the pressure on the gage of each oxygen cylinder.
(b)
Add the pressures together and divide the total by the number of installed oxygen cylinders.
(2)
Compare the calculated average pressure in the oxygen cylinders (PA) with the pressure on the fill panel pressure indicator 980WR (PI).
(3)
If the pressures PA and PI are the same, measure the ambient air temperature (TM) in the area of the oxygen cylinders with a THERMOMETER 50 DEG C (122 DEG F).
(4)
Refer to the table (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 35-21-00-991-009) and the Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM) to calculate the oxygen supply available.
