 Make sure that a warning notice is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the emergency oxygen system.

 Make sure that the access platform is in position at the AFT cargo-compartment door 826.

 (4)
 Make sure that the AFT cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).

 (5)
 Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is in the ON position.

 (6)
 Make sure that the related lining panel is removed (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-000-003).

 (7)
 Make sure that the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders are close.

 (8)
 Obey the special precautions when you do this task (Ref. TASK 35-00-00-860-001).

 WARNING : CLEAN THE TOOLS AND MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN TO PREVENT

 CONTAMINATION OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM.

 Subtask 35-23-11-420-050
 A. Installation of the Temperature Transducer (975WR)
 (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 35-23-11-991-001)

 (1)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (2)
 Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (3)
 Put the temperature transducer (2) in position and install the washers (4) and the screws (3).

 (4)
 Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

 (5)
 Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

 (6)
 Connect the electrical connector 975WR-A (1).

 (7)
 If necessary, install the oxygen cylinder 991WR1 (Ref. TASK 35-21-51-400-001).

 B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1WR, 2WR.

 -Examine the indicators on the  - Make sure that there is no
 QCCU. 'TEMPERATURE' indication.

 -Push the TEST pushbutton.  - The COMPUTER, TEMPERATURE and
 PRESSURE indicator come on.

 D. Pressurize the Emergency Oxygen System
 (1)
 Slowly open the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders 3.5 to 4 turns.

 Let the pressure become stable.


 NOTE : This occurs after approximately 90 seconds.

 (3) Fully open the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders.
