3. Job Set-up

A. Get Access
(1) Put the access platform in position at the access door 812.
(2) Open the access door 812. Subtask 35-13-51-860-050
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Close the valve of the oxygen cylinder/valve assembly (5750HM).
(3)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to open the valve of the oxygen cylinder assembly.

C. Bleed the oxygen system:
(1)
In the cockpit, on the panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch. The OFF legend goes off.
(2)
On an oxygen-mask stowage box, operate the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide a sufficient number of times to make the system empty.
(3)
On the panel 21VU, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch. The OFF legend comes on.

A. Removal of the LP Oxygen-Supply Solenoid-Valve (3HT)
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (9) from the LP oxygen-supply solenoid-valve (6).
(2)
Put a blanking cap on the disconnected electrical connector (9).
(3)
Disconnect the pipe (8) and discard the bush (7).
(4)
Put a blanking plug on the pipe (8).
(5)
Disconnect the pipe (5) and discard the bush (4).
(6)
Put a blanking plug on the pipe (5).
(7)
Remove the screws (2), the washers (3) and the solenoid valve (6).
