D. Preparation of the test
(1) Make sure that the mask is correctly installed in the box:
(a)
On the OVHD panel 21VU: Push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch. The OFF legend goes off.
(b)
On the oxygen box: Push the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide. Make sure that the OXY ON flag goes out of view. Release the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide.

R (1) Do the operational test of the oxygen mask microphone (Ref. TASK 23-R 51-00-710-004).

On the CAPT Audio Control Panel (ACP) for the CAPT oxygen mask (only), installed on the left side: or On the F/O and 3rd Occupant Audio Control Panel (ACP) for the oxygen mask(s) installed on the right side (F/O mask and 3rd Occupant mask) : - push the INT reception pushbutton switch and adjust the audio level to the minimum level that you can hear. - set the INT/RAD switch to INT.
