A. Installation of the Thermal Compensator (7621WR-7626WR)
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 35-21-53-991-001)
(1)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Remove the vinyl bags from the disconnected line ends.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(4)
Make sure that the line end fittings are serviceable.
(5)
Hold the fittings tightly in the correct position.
(6)
Put the thermal compensator (2) in position and tighten the nuts (1) and (4) with your hand.
(7)
TORQUE the nut (1) to between 1.38 and 1.52 m.daN (10.17 and 11.20 lbf.ft).
(8)
TORQUE the nut (4) to between 2.03 and 2.15 m.daN (14.97 and 15.85 lbf.ft).
(9) If removed, install the support brace C63. Subtask 35-21-53-865-052
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1WR, 2WR.

D. Pressurize the Emergency Oxygen System

Slowly open the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders 3.5 to 4 turns.

Let the pressure become stable.
NOTE : This occurs after approximately 90 seconds.

Fully open the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders.

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the related lining panel to close access to the oxygen storage (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(3)
Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the OFF position.
(4)
Remove the access platform(s).
(5)
Close the AFT cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
