C. 'TMR RESET' Pushbutton Switch 13WR
(Ref. Fig. 003)
The 'TMR RESET' pushbutton switch 13WR is installed on the maintenance
panel 50VU. It lets you set the system back to the normal condition after
operation. When you push the 'TMR RESET' pushbutton switch:
-
The electrical circuit is set to the normal condition.
-
The oxygen regulators close.
The 'TMR RESET' pushbutton switch operates only if the cabin pressure is
above a pressure equivalent to 10000 ft. (3050 m).
The 'ON' light on the switch stays on for 5 seconds after the switch is
pushed.
D. Passenger Information Relay 19WR
The passenger information relay 19WR starts the pre-recorded announcement
(PRAM) on the passenger address system (Ref. 23-36-00).
It also supplies the hold-in circuit for the 'ON' indicator light on the
'TMR RESET' pushbutton switch.
E. 'SYS ON' Indicator Light 12WR
(Ref. Fig. 003) The 'SYS ON' indicator light 12WR comes on when the emergency oxygen system is energized and is installed on the overhead panel 21VU. If the pressure in the system decreases less than 0.045 bar (0.6526 psi) the 'SYS ON' indicator light 12WR goes off. The 'SYS ON' indicator light 12WR stays on, also when the 'TMR RESET' pushbutton switch 13WR is pushed. If no masks are pulled, a max. time of 25 minutes is necessary to decrease the pressure of the system.
F. Temperature Transducer 975WR
(Ref. Fig. 004) The temperature transducer 975WR is installed adjacent to the oxygen cylinder assemblies. It receives its power from and sends a signal to the QCCU 960WR. It has an operation range of -15 deg.C (+5.00 deg.F) to +70 deg.C (+158.00 deg.F).

CES G. Fill Panel Pressure-Indicator 980WR
(Ref. Fig. 005) The fill panel pressure-indicator 980WR is installed on the oxygen fill panel adjacent to the AFT cargo-compartment door. It shows the arithmetic mean pressure in the oxygen cylinder assemblies. This function is to show the system pressure when you fill the system. The indicator shows a pressure up to 152 bar (2204.5730 psi). The signal to the indicator comes from the QCCU 960WR.
H. Quantity Calculation and Control Unit 960WR
(Ref. Fig. 006, 007)
The quantity calculation and control unit receives signals from:
-
The temperature transducer
-
The pressure reducers.
The QCCU 960WR sends a signal of the arithmetic mean pressure to the fill
panel indicator and a temperature adjusted pressure to the POXIP.
The unit also sends a signal to the POXIP if:
-
The QCCU 960WR does not operate.
-
The signal from the temperature transducer 975WR is not in the range or is not continuous.
-
The signal from one or more of the pressure transducers is not in the
range or is not continuous.
There are 3 warning lights on the QCCU 960WR:
-PRESSURE
-TEMPERATURE
-COMPUTER.
The lights come on if there is a fault in the appropriate signal to the
QCCU 960WR.
The QCCU 960WR has a test pushbutton to make a lighttest on the unit.
J. Pressure Reducers 990WR1 thru 990WR6
(Ref. Fig. 008)
A pressure reducer is installed on each oxygen cylinder. Each pressure
reducer has:
-
A high-pressure inlet port (from the oxygen cylinder)
-
A high-pressure fill inlet with a nonreturn valve
-
A low-pressure outlet
-
A safety outlet with a burst disc (connected to the overboard discharge indicator)
-
A pressure transducer, which sends a signal to the quantity calculation and control unit.
