A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that a warning notice is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the emergency oxygen system.
(3)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at the AFT cargo-compartment door 826.
(4)
Make sure that the AFT cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5)
Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is in the ON position.
(6)
Make sure that the related lining panel is removed (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(7)
Make sure that the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders are close.
(8)
Obey the special precautions when you do this task (Ref. TASK 35-00-00-860-001).

A. Installation of the Fill Panel Pressure Indicator (980WR)
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 35-23-21-991-001)
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Put the fill panel pressure indicator (1) in position. NOTE : Make sure that the indicator is installed the correct way up.

(4)
Fasten the screws (3).
(5)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(6)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(7)
Connect the electrical connector 980WR-A (2).
(8)
Put the cover assembly (5) in position and lock the quick release fasteners (4).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1WR, 2WR.

Calculate the average pressure in the oxygen cylinders.

Read the pressure on the gage of each oxygen cylinder.
