Make sure that the access platform is in position at the AFT cargo-compartment door 826.
(4)
Make sure that the AFT cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5)
Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is in the ON position.
(6)
Make sure that the related lining panel is removed (Ref. TASK 25-55-
12-000-003).
(7)
Make sure that the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders are close.
(8)
Obey the special precautions when you do this task (Ref. TASK 35-00-00-860-001).

Subtask 35-23-51-420-050
A. Installation of the Pressure Reducers (990WR1-990WR6)
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 35-23-51-991-001)
(1)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Remove the vinyl bags from the disconnected line ends.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(4)
Put the pressure reducer (7) in position and tighten the nut (6) with your fingers.
(5)
Put the thermal compensator (1) and the hose (5) in position and tighten the nuts (2) and (4) with your fingers.
(6)
Tighten the connections CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE FLEXIBLE HOSES ARE NOT TWISTED OR PULLED
_______ TIGHT. IF THE HOSES ARE TWISTED OR PULLED TIGHT, THE CONNECTIONS WILL BREAK AND CAUSE A LEAK.
NOTE : You must hold the fitting tightly in the correct position.

TORQUE the nut (2) to between 1.38 and 1.52 m.daN (10.17 and
11.20 lbf.ft).
(b)
TORQUE the nut (4) to between 4.23 and 4.37 m.daN (31.19 and
32.22 lbf.ft).
(c)
TORQUE the nut (6) to between 6.78 and 8.12 m.daN (49.99 and
59.88 lbf.ft).
(7) Connection of the Electrical Connectors CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED
_______ BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
(a)
Connect the bonding strap.
(b)
Apply PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-001D) and SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016B) to the screws of the bonding strap.
(c)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(d)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(e) Connect the electrical connector (3). Subtask 35-23-51-865-052
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1WR, 2WR.

- On the display of the QCCU the indication '88' comes on.
On the QCCU, after 3 seconds: - The COMPUTER, TEMPERATURE and PRESSURE indicator go off. - On the display of the QCCU the number of selected oxygen cylinders come on.
