Fully open the valve of the oxygen cylinder valve assembly.
(4)
Close the cover of the oxygen compartment.

Close the access door 812.
(6)
Remove the access platform(s).

A. Get access to the Avionics Compartment

Put an access platform in position at the access door 812.
(2)
Open the access door 812.
(3)
In the avionics compartment, open the cover of the oxygen compartment.
(4)
Close the valve of the oxygen cylinder (5750HM). Subtask 35-10-00-860-055
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3)
Make sure that the avionics ventilation operates correctly. Subtask 35-10-00-865-052

D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Bleed the oxygen system.
(a) On the panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).

(b) On one of the oxygen mask stowage boxes:
- operate the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide a sufficient number of times.
(2) Preparation before the test.
(a)
Remove the oxygen cylinder (Ref. TASK 35-11-41-000-001).
(b)
Install and connect the tool cylinder at the position of the oxygen cylinder. The tool cylinder contains a gaseous mixture with 10% helium and 90% nitrogen filled to 127 bars.
