 C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

 (1)
 Close the valve of the oxygen storage cylinder (5750HM).

 (2)
 Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 (3)
 Make sure that the avionics equipment ventilation operates correctly.

 (4)
 Bleed the oxygen system:

 (a)
 On the panel 21VU, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).

 (b)
 On one of the oxygen-mask stowage boxes: Push the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide a sufficient number of times to make the system empty.

 

 (5)
 In the L Electronics Rack

 (a)
 Disconnect the LP hose (4) 5762HM.

 (b)
 Put a blanking cap on the end of the disconnected hose (4).

 (c)
 Put the end of the hose (4) in a sealed vinyl bag.

 (d)
 Remove the blanking cap supplied for the test from the oxygen stowage bag (5). Make sure that the seal is on this blanking cap.

 (e)
 Install and tighten this blanking cap on the port (2) of the oxygen regulator (1).
