C. Get Access
(1)
Open the AFT cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2)
Put the access platform below the AFT cargo-compartment door 826.
(3)
Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4)
Remove the related lining panel to get access to the oxygen storage (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(5) Close the manual shut-off valves of the emergency oxygen cylinders. Subtask 35-21-54-941-050
D. Put a WARNING NOTICE in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the emergency oxygen system.
4. Procedure

SOURCE OF OXYGEN. OXYGEN BECOMES EXPLOSIVE WHEN IT TOUCHES

WARNING : CLEAN THE TOOLS AND MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN TO PREVENT

CONTAMINATION OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM.
CAUTION : PUT DRY, CLEAN, METAL OR PLASTIC PLUGS ON ALL PIPES OR UNITS
_______ REMOVED TEMPORARILY. PUT EACH PIPE OR UNIT IN A SEALED VINYL BAG.

B. Removal of the Overboard Discharge Indicator (7521WR)
(Ref. Fig. 201/TASK 35-21-54-991-001)
(1)
Remove and discard the circlip (2).
(2)
Remove and discard the green reflective washer (3) and the yellow reflective washer (4) from the body of the indicator (5).
(3)
Clean the body of the indicator (5) with a clean lint-free cloth and CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-005).

C. Flush the Pipe connected to the Overboard Discharge Indicator
(1)
Loosen the nut (7) and disconnect the pressure relief valve (8).
(2)
Put CAP - DUST on the disconnected end of the pressure relief valve.
(3)
Put the disconnected line ends into a sealed BAG - VINYL.
(4)
Connect the LP air source (with air that is dry, clean and contains no oil) to the pipe end (6).
(5)
Operate the LP air source to blow unwanted particles out of the overboard discharge pipe.
(6)
Disconnect the LP air source.
(7)
Remove the vinyl bag from the disconnected line end.
(8)
Remove the dust cap from the disconnected end of the pressure relief valve.
(9)
Connect the pressure relief valve (8) to the line end and tighten the nut (7) with your fingers.
(10) TORQUE the nut (7) to between 1.50 and 1.66 m.daN (11.06 and 12.24 lbf.ft).
