Do a Test of the Pressure Switch

At the bottle for the APU fire extinguisher, turn the hex key for the ground test clockwise and hold or push and hold the manual override switch (as required).

Make sure the APU BTL DISCH light on the fire control module, M7326 (P5), comes on.

Connect the multimeter to the squib circuit test box.

(5) S 865-034Put the toggle switch on the squib circuit test box to the OFF position.
(6) S 865-222Open this circuit breaker on the main power distribution panel, P6, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: (a) 6H5, FIRE EXTINGUISHER APU
(7) S 485-035Connect the squib electrical connector, DM103B, to the adapter cable on the squib circuit test box.
(8) S 865-224Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker on the main power distribution panel, P6: (a) 6H5, FIRE EXTINGUISHER APU
(9) S 485-036Connect the multimeter to the squib circuit test box.

(10) Pull the APU fire handle out to the EMERGENCY FIRE position on the fire control module, M7326 (P5).
NOTE: To operate the fire handle to the EMERGENCY FIRE position,
____ you must push the manual unlock button behind the handle. The handle must be held against the stops while you measure the voltages.

Turn and hold the APU fire handle fully counterclockwise.
