Open the access door, 125B, to let air into the cargo compartment.

On the FIRE CONTROL MODULE on the P5 panel, push the ARMED switch that has the light on.
(a) Make sure the ARMED lights are off.

(5) Open this circuit breaker on the main power distribution panel, P6, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) 6H6, FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOWER CARGO

(6) Start the cargo conditioned air system to give a good flow of air in the lower cargo compartment during the discharge (AMM 21-00-00/201).

WARNING:_______DO NOT BREATHE THE HALON EXTINGUISHING AGENT. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(7) Use equipment to safely breathe if you go into the forward cargo compartment.

WARNING:_______DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PRESSURIZED HOSES. THE PRESSURIZED HOSES CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

If the bottles were discharged to the forward cargo compartment, disconnect the flex hoses from the aft discharge outlets of bottle C (M7908) and bottle D (M6742).

If the bottles were discharged to the aft cargo compartment, disconnect the flex hoses from the forward discharge outlets of bottle C (M7908) and bottle D (M6742).

Make sure there are no persons in the forward cargo compartment.

(11) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker on the P6 panel:
(a) 6H6, FIRE EXTINGUISHER LOWER CARGO

(12) If the bottles were discharged to the aft cargo compartment, push the FWD ARMED switch on the FIRE CONTROL MODULE.
NOTE: The bottle C and D flex hoses are disconnected for the

After the bottles are empty, push the applicable ARMED switch-light on the FIRE CONTROL MODULE to disarm it.

E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
