THE NACELLE ANTI-ICE IS ON
-
THE CON IGNITION SWITCH IS SET TO "ON"
-OR THE ENGINE START SWITCH IS PULLED TO "ON".
FUEL THAT IS NOT BURNED IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER CAN IGNITE AND CAUSE AN INTERNAL ENGINE OR TAILPIPE FIRE. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(10) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO NOT CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6F1 IGN 1 ENG 1 2) 6F2 IGN 1 ENG 2

4) 6G4 ENGINE 4 FUEL SHUTOFF

P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7J4 HYDRAULICS EDP SUPPLY 1
2) 7J5 HYDRAULICS EDP SUPPLY 2
3) 7J6 HYDRAULICS EDP SUPPLY 3
4) 7J7 HYDRAULICS EDP SUPPLY 4

(13) Put the GEN CONT switch for each engine in the OFF position.
(a)
Make sure the OFF light in the GEN CONT switch for each engine comes on.
(b)
Make sure the FIELD OFF light in the manual reset switch for each engine generator field comes on.

(14) Push the generator field manual reset switch for each engine.
(a) Make sure the FIELD OFF light in the manual reset switch, for each engine generator field goes off.

(15) Set the FUEL CONTROL switch for each engine to the RUN position.
(a) The spar valves are located on the front spar by the engines. Listen for the spar valves to actuate.

(16) Put the HYD PUMPS ENGINE switch for each engine, on the P5 panel, to the ON position.
CAUTION: DO NOT MOVE THE POSITION INDICATOR ON THE HYDRAULIC
_______ SHUTOFF VALVE WHEN THE VALVE HAS ELECTRICAL POWER. DAMAGE TO THE VALVE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Check the HYDRAULIC SYSTEM EICAS maintenance page to make sure the hydraulic shut off valve is open.

(17) Pull the fire handle, for each engine out.
NOTE: When you pull the fire handle, it is necessary to push the
____ manual override button behind the fire handle.
(a)
Make sure the FIELD OFF light in the generator field manual reset switch, for each engine, comes on after 5 seconds.
(b)
Listen for the spar valves to actuate.
(c)
Check the HYDRAULIC SYSTEM EICAS maintenance page to make sure the hydraulic shut off valve is closed.
