_______ FLOW INTO THE ENGINES WHEN THE FUEL CONTROL SWITCHES, ON THE ISLE STAND, ARE PUT IN THE RUN POSITION. AN INTERNAL ENGINE FIRE OR HOT START MAY RESULT IN INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel

(3) Try to pull these fire handles on the Fire Control Module:

Engine 1

Engine 4
(f)
Make sure all five fire switches stay locked in place.

(4) Push and hold the FIRE/OVHT test switch on the M7317 (P5 panel).
(a) Make sure the red lights on the APU, engine 1, 2, 3, and 4 fire switches, on the P5 pilots overhead panel, come on.
NOTE: The EICAS message TEST IN PROGRESS will be in view while
____ the test is in progress. The EICAS message FIRE TEST FAIL or TEST PASSED comes into view at the end of the test. The EICAS message FIRE TEST FAIL comes into view when circuit breakers are open or an actual fault exists on a related fire/overheat system.

Pull the APU fire switch out; the lock should be released to permit the switch to move freely.

Release the FIRE/OVHT test switch.
(a) Make sure the lights in the fire switch go off and the EICAS messages go out of view.
