Disconnect connector DM103B from the APU fire bottle.

WARNING:_______PUT THE PROTECTIVE COVERS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS. IF YOU DO NOT PUT PROTECTIVE COVERS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS, THE FIRE BOTTLES CAN RELEASE ITS CONTENTS SUDDENLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT PUT SHUNT PLUGS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS. THE SHUNT PLUGS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SQUIB PINS.
(4) Put the protective cover on all the fire bottle squibs.

(5) S 864-155Set the BATTERY switch on the P5 panel to the ON position.
(6) S 864-156Set the STANDBY POWER switch on the P5 panel to the AUTO position.
(7) S 864-157Make sure the GND TESTS switch on the P461 maintenance panel is set to the NORM position.
(8) S 864-158Push the two APU GEN FIELD MAN RESET switches on the P461 panel. (a) Make sure the FIELD OFF light in each APU GEN FIELD MAN RESET switch is off.
(9) S 864-159Set the APU control switch, on P5 pilots overhead panel, to the ON position. (a) Listen for the APU fuel shutoff valve as it opens. You can hear the APU fuel shutoff valve near the Wheel Well on the left wing.

(10) Pull the APU fire switch out to the emergency position.
NOTE: When you pull the fire switch, it is necessary to push the
____ manual override button behind the fire switch.
(a)
Make sure the APU ADVISORY and the APU STATUS messages show.
(b)
Make sure the FIELD OFF light in the two APU GEN FIELD MAN RESET switches, on the P461 panel, come on after 5 seconds.
(c)
Listen for the APU fuel shutoff valve as it closes.

(11) Push the APU fire handle in to the normal position.
(a) Make sure the display APU stays in view on the main EICAS or the status EICAS screen.

(12) Set the APU control switch to the OFF then ON position.
NOTE: Operate the switch through a cycle.

I. APU Squib Discharge

Attach the adapter cable to the connector on the squib circuit test box.

Connect the squib electrical connector, DM103B, to the adapter cable on the squib circuit test box.

Close this circuit breaker:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6H5 FIRE EXTINGUISHER APU

(4) Pull the APU fire handle out to the EMERGENCY FIRE position on the fire control module, M7326 (P5).
