(5) S 035-176Remove the jet nozzle at STA 1563, RBL 6.50.
(6) S 035-185Install the regulator test equipment at the end of the tubing at STA 1563, RBL 6.50 where the jet nozzle is removed.
(7) S 485-186Install the jet nozzle at the end of the regulator test equipment.
(8) S 035-116Disconnect the hose between the aft discharge port of the bottle C (M7908) (STA 910, RBL 102) and the bulkhead fittings in the aft metered tubing.
(9) S 495-187Disconnect the hose between the aft discharge port of the bottle D (M6742) (STA 890, RBL 103) and the bulkhead fitting in the aft metered tubing.
S 785-290
(10)
Connect the dry nitrogen source to the open hose disconnected from the aft discharge port of bottle C.
S 785-291
(11)
Pressurize the halon distribution tubing from 15 to 50 psig.
S 785-292
(12)
Make sure the dry nitrogen flows from the hose that was disconnected from the aft discharge port of bottle D.
S 785-293
(13)

(14) Put a nozzle pressure cap on the open hose (STA 898, RBL 104, WL 174) disconnected from the aft discharge port of bottle D.
S 485-116
CAUTION:_______DO NOT PRESSURIZE THE FIRE BOTTLES. DAMAGE TO DISCHARGE PORTS CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE DRY FILTERED AIR ON THE METERED HALON DISTRIBUTION
_______ TUBING. ANY CONTAMINANT IN AIR CAN CLOG THE METERED NOZZLES.
(15)
Pressurize the aft metered tubing with the dry nitrogen to 325 +/-25 psig.
S 725-189
(16)
Check the connections for the leakage.
S 785-345
(17)
Make sure the downstream pressure on the regulator test gauge is as follows:
Temperature Pressure
(F / C)___________ (psig)
60 / 16 140 +/- 6
70 / 21 148 +/- 6
80 / 27 156 +/- 6
90 / 21 165 +/- 6
100 / 27 175 +/- 6
NOTE: The regulator is temperature compensated.
____
S 085-191
(18)
Stop the nitrogen flow and remove the regulator test equipment.
S 085-192
(19)
Hold the tubing behind the jet nozzle and install the jet nozzle and the nozzle pressure cap at: STA 1563, RBL 6.50 STA 1723, RBL 6.50 STA 1956, RBL 3.75 STA 1983, RBL 3.75
(20)
Pressurize the aft metered tubing to 350 psig with the nitrogen.
S 865-272
(21)
Close the nitrogen supply valve to trap the nitrogen in the tubing system.
