Remove the sealant around the switch on the top, the bottom of the midspar, and around the electrical connection where applicable.

(1) Clean the surface of the midspar around the switch mounting hole with BMS 11-7 solvent and a clean lint free cloth.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT TIGHTEN THE NUT MORE THAN 18 POUND-INCHES. MORE THAN 18 POUND-INCHES OF TORQUE WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SWITCH.

Install the thermal switch on the airplane frame.

Install the switch with a washer and a locknut if it is applicable.

Tighten the nut.

(5) Apply the sealant BMS 5-95 around the base of the switch on top of the midspar, and over the stud and the fastener on the bottom of the midspar if applicable.
