WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
(3) For access to the wing leading edge thermal switches, extend the wing leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

WARNING: REFER TO AMM 27-81-00/201 FOR LOCK INSTALLATION PROCEDURE.
_______ FLAPS WILL REACT IN 7 SECONDS. INSTALL LOCKS TO PREVENT INJURY FROM INADVERTENT OPERATION OF FLAPS.
(4) For wing leading edge thermal switches, install safety locks on all extended leading edge flaps. For access to the thermal switches, refer to AMM 26-18-02/401.
D. Sensor Test
NOTE: Do this test, one at a time, for every sensor listed in Fig. 502.

Open the access panels for sensor to be tested (AMM 26-18-02/401).

Install a jumper between pins 1 and 2 of the sensor listed in the Fig. 502.
(3)
Make sure the applicable EICAS message listed on Fig. 502 shows.
(4)
Remove the jumper from the sensor.
(5)
Make sure the applicable EICAS message does not show.
(6)
Do the test again for the next sensor listed on Fig. 502.

E. Do the Wing Leading Edge Duct Dual Loop Sensor Test

Install a jumper between pins 1 and 2 of the sensor S909.
