_______ SHUTOFF VALVE WHEN THE VALVE HAS ELECTRICAL POWER. DAMAGE TO THE VALVE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Make sure the position indicator on the hydraulic shutoff valve is in the OPEN position (Fig. 503).

Make sure the FIELD OFF light in the generator field manual reset switch, for engine 1 (2, 3, 4), comes on after 5 seconds.
(b)
Check the ECS SUPPLY SYSTEM EICAS maintenance page to make sure the PRSOV, on engine 1 (2, 3, 4), is in the closed position.
(c)
Make sure the engine No. 1 (2, 3, 4) fuel spar valve is in the closed position.
(d)
Make sure there is 28 vdc between DV236A, pins 1 and 2.
(e)
Make sure the position indicator on the hydraulic shutoff valve moves to the CLOSED position and the motor stops.

(18) Push the HYD switch on the EICAS DISPLAY SELECT module on the P10 glare shield panel.
(a) Make sure the HYD synoptic display shows the hydraulic shutoff valve is closed.
